Classroom
management has two distinct
purposes: “It
not only seeks to establish and sustain an orderly environment so students can
engage in meaningful academic learning, it also aims to enhance student social
and moral growth”.
(Evertson
& Weinstein 2006, p.4).
Classroom
management strategies are most effective if:
- Organized instruction to optimize student learning.
- Lessons in group management.
- Effective classroom management must be aligned with instructional goals and activities.
